Evidence 7.1  Instructional Unit - Long Range Planning

The Instructional Unit Curriculum, Packaging Design Unit was modified to include an Oral Presentation Rubric and Lesson Plans for students to research, design, and sell a consumer packaging campaign to progressively follow Parts 1 and 2. 

 

Progressive Part 3 and 4: Students will learn to creatively sell a "mock company - its identity", its consumer product, and new packaging graphics to a manufacturer for their decision to produce. Using their research and discovery, students will design a new company and its corporate identity. Using their graphic identity, students will design a new packaging campaign using a product they design, its packaging, and correlating media to sell their product. Teams will present their company, their product, and their packaging graphics to the entire class who will act as the deciding manufacturer.
